Educational bookkeeping tool, not tax advice. Not affiliated with Etsy, Shopify or the IRS.

Your numbers are scattered. Tax season makes it obvious.
Etsy monthly statements. Shopify payout reports. A 1099-K that shows a number way bigger than what landed in your bank. Fees, Offsite Ads, shipping labels, sales tax that was never yours, and a pile of supply receipts.
Generic bookkeeping templates make you retype all of it and guess which fee goes on which line. This kit is built around the files Etsy and Shopify actually give you: paste them in, and the formulas do the sorting.

Questions, answered
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. It works in Google Sheets (free) and Microsoft Excel 2010 or newer on Windows or Mac. There are no macros or add-ons. It is not designed for Apple Numbers.
Does it file my taxes?
No. It organizes your numbers and produces a line-by-line Schedule C summary you can hand to your tax preparer or use alongside tax software. It is an educational bookkeeping tool, not tax advice and not a substitute for a CPA or enrolled agent.
I only sell on Etsy (or only on Shopify). Is it still useful?
Yes. Use the import tabs for the platform you sell on and leave the others empty.
What if Etsy changes the column order in its CSV?
The import tabs read columns by header name, so a column moved to a different position won't break them.
Which tax year does it cover?
The 2026 tax year (returns filed in 2027), including the 2026 IRS mileage rates and 2026 estimated tax due dates.
How do I get the files?
Right after checkout you get a download link for a ZIP with the blank workbook, the sample workbook, the 20-page guide and the 2-page Quick Start. Nothing is shipped.
